Rates:
$220 Initial evaluation session
$175 Individual Therapy sessions ( 45-50 minutes)
$190 Couples/Family Therapy sessions
$200 per hour of psychological testing
$2,000 ( average price of a psychological evaluation) includes the test administration, scoring, interpretation of results, report writing and results session.
Insurance
Most major health insurance plans cover behavioral/mental health. However, please check your coverage or benefit plan to verify if mental health is included. Helpful questions to ask your insurance are:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session ( or for psychological testing) ?
- Do the sessions (or the psychological testing) need pre-certification?
Dr. Deschamps is a participating provider ONLY with Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield commercial plans . For any other insurance carrier, you will need to pay the full fee and will be given a superbill for you to file the claim. The insurance will then reimburse you at the out-of network rate.
Payment
Cash, personal checks, and Zelle are accepted forms of payment. Credit card, debit and HSA cards are accepted for out of network clients. Payment is due upon receipt of services.
Cancellation Policy
If you fail to show up to your scheduled appointment, and have not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance, you will be subject to a "no show/late cancellation fee" as delineated in the Psychologist-Patient Agreement you will sign at the initiation of your treatment.
